One such person was the Late Raghunath Pandey (Ex-MLA and minister in the Govt. of Bihar). Born in an atypical rural family, he single-handedly changed the business and industrial scene of Bihar. He was an entrepreneur in the true sense. His contribution to the field of education has been as praiseworthy. Late Raghunath Pandey established several institutions, which have now become centres of excellence. SKMCH (now a premier medical college of Bihar). Homeopathy College, Uma Pandey College, Pusa and a few more bear ample testimony to his vision and commitment.
